My experience has taught me that whilst it is good to note the possible difficulties that may arise, it is best to take any prediction with a grain of salt.
Forewarned is forarmed and free-will still create our own destiny to a large degree, but some years it is easier to use it, than others.
Then - as in all things - test your guru and information source. That can only be done in hindsight of the year, after it has passed. If the predictions were accurate consistently, then you will know who to trust

I am not sure whether you are looking at this prediction based on your Moon Sign or Sun Sign. Is Cancer your Moon Sign? or is it your Sun Sign?
These predictions over here are based on Moon Sign.
I am sure that any generalized predictions of any astrologer cannot be true for each and every person who belongs to the Cancer Moon Sign. Had a generalized reading been true for 1/12 of the world population, the jobs of astrologers would have been much simple.
What these generalized predictions give are a broad guidelines of how a year is going to pan out for a Moon Sign. Personalized predictions by either a western or vedic astrologer would definitely be more accurate.

Thanks for your comment. True the authenticity of the predictions can be found only in hind sight. Moreover, generalized predictions based on either Sun or Moon Sign are at most or broad guidelines and more of a forewarning (as so rightly put by you).

i must say what madam upma has said is absolutely true ...
i felt as if it was for me ....i m facing a difficult time ..i feel very emotional & isolated ..i wasnt like that B4 ..

Hats off to ur accuracy..and this is the proof of my isolation.. that i met u online..finding reasons and finding wayz to justify my lonelyness and finding a ray of hope that some day it will come to an end.. this lonelyness is so damn killing sometimes .must have done gud number of sins in my last life..Ma, pls tell me WHEN i will come out of these blues...will the changing of house by rahu and ketu bring some relief and when saturn will trun direct will it bring some changes after 5 may 2008 .
