Your Dreams, Your Life

October 22nd 2007 09:56
Category: Astrology
Interpretation of Dreams is a separate wing of Vedic astrology and is very interesting. Interesting because vedic astrology believes that many negative events and symbols when seen in dreams have a positive manifestations.

In Indian culture it is believed that under-developed or unstated desires take the shape of dreams. Dreams which one sees in the wee hours of the morning are said to have the highest probability to turn into reality. Wee hours would mean immediately before the sun rise and roughly between 4.30 and 6 AM. Day dreams are believed to be unreliable.

If you see a sky or a fort or scaling mountains and heights it denotes progress in your profession. Seeing a building being constructed signifies progress and new income. If you see yourself failing in examination or test, it signifies that you will soon receive good news and you see yourself playing with sword it denotes victory over enemies. Seeing a rainbow in dreams means that a change is bound to happen in your life can be a change of place, change of profession or change of fortune.

When I say dreams have the exact opposite meaning most of the times, I say because, it is believed in Vedic astrology that if you see a funeral procession in your dreams it means you will find cure from a chronic illness and if you see yourself dead it signifies long life. Seeing a snake or peacock or a caged bird denotes happiness. If you are crying in your dreams
means that you will soon find happiness.

Not all dreams have positive interpretations. In my next post I will cover some dreams which spell bad news and act as a forewarning to an impending negative event in life.

In case you want me to tell you the vedic interpretation of a specific dream, please let me know through a comment on this blog or a personal message to me. I will be pleased to respond.
