Vastu for Love

Anita and John form an ideal couple – all their friends quote them as role models when it comes to married life. However, both Anita and John know deep down that something has changed. Right from their compatibility quotient to a rocking sex life, what was once like a fairy tale has changed after they moved their residence to their own apartment – the once enviable chemistry between the two was just not there. Soon, Lina - one of Anita’s closest friends, realized this and recommended them to visit me. On paying a visit to their new apartment, I realized that it needs several corrections from a Vastu and Feng Shui point of

view.

Enjoying a great relationship –mentally and sexually, involves more than understanding and sexual compatibility between partners. External factors like the location of the bedroom, location of the bed, color of the walls and bed sheets and décor of the bedroom have its important role to play. This is where Vastu – the magical science of interiors, comes to rescue.

Directions play a major role in creating an aura of passion, tranquility and rest, which are very important for your love life to go smoothly. South West is the direction of Earth element which promotes love and bonding. Couples should specifically not use North East as their bedroom as it is not considered auspicious to lead married life in

God’s abode.

Avoid clutter in the bedroom as it can leave you exhausted leaving no time for sensual union. If you do not keep it clean at both visible and invisible levels, then you will feel that you are getting churlish and loosing sleep.

The bed should be placed towards the South West of the bed room with the headrest pointing to South or East. Placing the bed between two doors can lead to restlessness in your lives.

Interestingly, not just its directions, but also the decorative items placed in the bedroom, including artifacts, paintings, mirrors, statues etc. have a direct bearing on your life. For example, an aromatic candle kept in the South-east direction adds to the excitement level. On the same lines, the incorrect placement of a mirror in the bedroom induces the feeling of infidelity in either of the two partners. Similarly, a couple of love birds or doves on the bed rest inculcate feelings of togetherness. Avoid glaring lights in the bed room and go for diffused lighting.

Dear Sweety

Vastu is not an exact science, it is based on beliefs established across centuries and in most cases by empirical studies. Hence it is difficult to state why incorrect placemnt of mirror causes the feeling of infidelity or discord in the relationship.

To know more about placement of mirror in the bedroom read this post - "Never Place a Mirror in frint of the Bed" and the post - "Bedroom Mirror Placement Guide" by following the link

Dear Ma'am

I have started believing in Feng Shui and Vastu since this year. I read alot too. I was told by a feng shui master that my house organisation is not good for me and as such I will never be able to prosper.

I had another feng shui master come over to my house to audit it and he recommended some changes and to date, I don't see myself moving but still being drained worrying when I am going to be employed. I do wear crystals recommended by Lillian Too. Have done alot but in vain. I live in a clustter free, clean house, do donate and am God fearing, yet I am not moving.

I need to work and jobs are not coming by my way.

Please tell me what else needs to be done , if you can.

Thank you.

Warm regards

Dear Madam,
I have some doubt in my mind.
I have moved to a new home..
i have made my temple in north-east room with idols facing south or south west.
actually i want to arrange my temple in such a way that idols face east.. but the problem is that there is a toilet wall in that east direction..
what should i do ????
whats the exact direction for temple and for idols facing ?
one more thing ...
i have heard that Lord Ganesha should never have His back inside the house..does it apply for every God ?
should i arrange my temple in such a way that every idol face inside home and back outside the home..
hope u guys understand what i really mean !!!!!
Pls Help Me...

Vastu Purush has his head toward the North East and that is what is shown the picture.

However, ideally Vastu purush is believed to be resting on the earth on his stomach while in the picture he is resting on his back.

Both images are available and as long as the directions are not effected it should not make any difference

But principally you are right

Hi,

I've read at many places that idols of God shouldn't be placed in the bedroom. But what is the reason behind that? And, if one has them in the bedroom, does it bring something bad in life or does it act as a barrier in letting good things happen?

Thanks!

Yogiraj

Idols and images of God should not be placed in rooms where celebacy cannot be performed. Hence not placed in bedroom of couple.

The effect can be anything, something bad in life or obstacles in something good.

Thank you for the advise. Also, can I sit and pray in my bedroom without using idols of God?

Thank you. Please don't misunderstand me. I am NOT trying to prove or disprove anything. I'm simply curious to know the difference that why is it that one can pray in their bedroom but cannot place idols of God there. I appreciate your responses. Thanks again.

i feel you should never put any idol anywhwere: neither in your bed room nor your praying room... just provide a clean place where u can medidate...

so pray to "success/ perfection" not to "and image".. so u need not have any idol...

secondly it is "gud" that u can pray in bedroom cos it creates positive feeling but it is "better" to pary with family.. this creates positive feelings and togetherness, both.. hence use common hall or pray room. bed room would be too small....

lay stress on inverted commas and their meaning...

this is what i feel..

thanks
