Lumber Rooms: Vastu Principles for the Storeroom of waste

Lumber room is a place in the house (or a factory) where we store old items which are currently of no use to us. In Feng Shui lingo it is a store of clutter. These unused items are those which cannot be disposed off either because of its sentimental value or we hope to use it someday in future. On the other hand store room is a place to store items that are being used. For those staying in apartments and flats, finding a separate place to designate as a lumber room may not be possible, those staying in independent bungalows, should definitely provision for a lumber room in their house.
Lumber rooms can have negative and harmful energies which can be minimized by following guidance from Vastu. Vastu suggests these basic principles for a lumber room.
They should be build in the South West Sector (preferably in the corner) of the premises, preferably outside the house.
The door of this room should be smaller than any other door in the house.
The room should be minimum dimension and smaller than any other room.
Color the walls in grey color.
Do not store anything related with water in a lumber room. Also make sure that the room is not damp.
Never use this room to sleep or rest.
Do not put any statue/picture of God/Goddess in this room
