Case Study #1 : How Sherry brought Stability in her worklife sitting in a North West Office

One day I received a call from Sherry, my client. Ever since she had taken a new job in a multinational company, she was not very comfortable sitting on her seat in the cubicle allotted to her. She felt confused and perplexed whenever she sits there. Being a software programmer, this was having an effect on her performance and quality and timeliness of the work.

Off late she had also started doubting her own capabilities. She had chosen this job because this company was known for its HR practices and what she was experiencing was in total contrast to what she was expecting with this change. She wanted me to find an Astro-vastu solution to her problem.

Though providing vastu consultancy remotely without actually feeling and seeing the environment is difficult, from my experience I asked whether her cubicle is in the North West corner of the office. When she actually used a compass to answer my question, she found that indeed it is in the North West of the office. She immediately called me and informed.

In an open cubicle, it is difficult to place a lot of Vastu and Fengshui cures as there is not much space and privacy. Also a cubicle is open from two sides having only two walls at right angles to the person occupying it. In this situation a simple solution came to my mind.

North West, as per Vastu is the direction of Wind and as per astrology is the direction of Moon. Both wind and moon have fast changing and fast flowing properties. Therefore, as per Astro-vastu, anything which needs to move should be placed there. If you want to move to another job, then North West is the best direction to be. But her problem was the opposite, she wanted to stabilize in this job and succeed in her job responsibilities. What can be more stable than a sitting elephant? I asked her to place a sitting elephant figurine on her work table and observe the results.

Sure enough, she called me after few days to tell me that the cure has worked miraculously; she is now able to concentrate and deliver her job responsibilities well. She has also regained her self-confidence and now look forward to reach her cubicle everyday in the morning.
