Mountain for Support

A must have for all career-minded people in their office is the picture of a mountain or a picture of range of mountains hung behind them where they sit in the office.

A solid mountain or range of mountains behind you gives you the support from your superiors, from your colleagues, protects you against office politics, and helps you get the recognition for your work and efforts.

Different symbols along with the mountain signifies as follows:

Flock of Birds reaching atop the mountain : Signifies good news and recognition

Red or dark yellow/orange trees in front of the mountain: Represent growth and progress and hence signifies upward mobility and recognition.

Pair of Eagles soaring to great heights: Signify good news of victory and reward and symbolizes success.

Caution: Make sure there is not water depicted in the painting

To your Success!!

Raven

Water in a mountain can be in the form of a waterfall or a pond/river at its base. Both brings instability in the mountain - for example, waterfall can potentially cause landslides. A river flowing at the base of the mountain can also with increase of flow cause part of the mountain soil to wash away.

Since the purpose is to get stability and solid support, water acts against it over here and in this context.

You can use either originals or prints as long as it represents what we want.

Thanks Raven for giving me the opportunity to bring clarity for my readers

MaaUpma,

Well your response helped me understand, made sense.

I paint with oils, and many if not most of my mountain scenes have water in them and I was curious if the energy of a live piece vs the energy of a copy were similar.

Thank you for your patience.

Well Raven, now you should paint one without water and sell it to a buyer who can use it with a purpose.

The reason why originals and prints are the same from a symbolic point of view is because to the visual eye they both depict the same thing as far as content goes.

However, originals have a sort of richness which gets highlighted and uplifts the environment. It also leaves a positive impression about the owner in the viewer's eyes.

My full respect to your creativity

God Bless!
