Two Most Important Directions as per Vastu

Though each direction has a special significance in Vastu, there are two directions where any vastu defect can result in a lot of problems and hardships for the occupants. Conversely, if these two directions are taken care in a house, it can result in overall well being of the owner.
North East - Effects the male of the house. Any defect in North East, can bring hardships in terms of loss in career, loss in health, legal hassles, mental unrest, etc.
South West - Effects the female of the house. Any defect in South West can bring separation from husband, diseases related to the abdomen, mental unrest, stress, misery, family disharmony.
Defects of the North East
Toilet, Storeroom, drainage/septic tank, staircase, heavy column, overhead tank - in North East are all defects of the North East.
Defects of the South West
Underground water tank, swimming pool, well, boring for extracting ground water - in South West are all defects of the South West.
