Feng Shui recommends that peacock's 100 eyes on its tail, could activate fame luck, promote public admiration and bring positive motives from other people. The 100 eyes can also protect you from disasters and dangers.

Since peacocks are pure at heart, loyal and faithful to their partners, they also symbolize eternal love. The male peacock goes to great lengths to attract his hearts desire. Display the image of peacock in the bedroom to symbolize fidelity in your relationship encouraging a lasting and loving partnership.

In the article "Peacock as an ancient symbol of Eternal Life", Dr. Ralph F. Wilson states that Christians adopted the symbol of peacock to represent immortality.

There is an ancient legend which says that the flesh of peacock never decays. If a peacock is protayed drinking from a vase it symbolizes a Christian drinking the water of eternal life.

Though in India and China, Peacock Feathers are considered auspicious, in certain parts of Europe peacock feathers are considered bad omen even if peacock is considered to be auspicious over there.
