Peacock which is the national bird of India, is known for its beauty and grace. It is a symbol of beauty, prosperity, royalty, love, compassion, soul and peace. It is considered sacred in India and China. In India it is believed that Goddess Saraswati the Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom uses it as her mount. In Buddhism peacock symbolize purity and their feathers are used for buddhist purification ceremonies.
Feng Shui recommends that peacock's 100 eyes on its tail, could activate fame luck, promote public admiration and bring positive motives from other people. The 100 eyes can also protect you from disasters and dangers.
