The study of astrology revolves around 12 zodiac signs. Each sign has a nature and the nature is based on the element to which the sign belongs. A zodiac sign can have one of the four natures; air, fire, earth and water.
Good Health Diet for Aries

Food is composed of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and water. Establishing correlation between food elements and the element of the sign directs us to the beneficial food for person belonging to a particular zodiac sign.

With this post I am starting a new series to guide my readers on what should be their food habits as per the zodiac sign they belong to. Since the element of a zodiac remains the same whether you look at it as a sun sign or a moon sign, you can read it as per either your moon sign or sun sign. However, when there is a contradiction, as an individual may have a different sun sign and a different moon sign; you should relate the nature of the sign described below with your nature to find out the element that is most prominent in your body and life.

The Nature of the Aries Sign

The head is associated with thinking and perception, and natives of Aries tend to be sharp, shrewd thinkers who use common sense. Aries people are subject to headaches, including migraines, head congestion, and sinus conditions. Aries people are active, have excellent muscle coordination, and are noted for their energetic sexuality. Because the Aries person is usually busy, active, and on the go, he needs a well-balanced diet to maintain good

health and energy.

The element of Aries sign is fire and fire is used to digest the food. You like variety in your food. You prefer hot and spicy rather than cold. The strong flavor purifies the system by burning off toxins, viruses, bacteria and fungus.

The excess of fire makes you aggressive, impatient, angry, and hyperactive. It makes you prone towards headaches including migraines, sinus, depression, heart problem, ulcer or inflammation and BP.

To balance the fire energy you need gradually burning food which gives stimulant energy.

Your diet should be rich in calcium phosphate to overcome unbalanced emotional behavior and general nervous exhaustion. Your platter should be filled with beans, carrot, tomatoes, cauliflower, cucumber, spinach, broccoli, pumpkin, onion, lettuce, bananas, figs, walnut and apricots.

You should eat enough protein and iron contained in beans and lean meat. The herbs best for you are aloe, basil, laurel and mint.

What Aries should Avoid

Do not take spicy food and red meat. You should avoid salt and liquor. Too much salt effects the bones and arteries and liquor over stimulates Aries and effects the kidneys.
