7 Feng Shui Tips for a Happy Married Life

March 8th 2009 21:57
Category: Feng Shui
Though the month of love has past, this article is for all those who are loosing zing in their married life or their relationship is getting ruined by arguments and more arguments. Fortunately all days are good for love and bliss. The Chinese art of placement – Feng Shui can suggest practical solutions to bring back the much needed fizz and passion to your love life. A positively charged Feng Shui bedroom bears a perfect balance of yin (female energy), yang (male energy), natural elements and colours ensuring a cordial flow of sensual energies between both partners.
Pink Flowers for Love

A cordial relationship between partners includes a lot more than just compatibility. Stressful lifestyles, lack of proper sleep, sexual incompetence and fertility issues also sometimes take a marriage to a dead end.
It's then that Feng Shui comes with its corrective measures, chi boosting techniques and products to strengthen the love-energies in your home...and it may be as simple as moving your sofa or changing the colour of your walls!

In this article I present few simple yet powerful tools to bring harmony and life in your relationships

  1. The South west direction is considered to be the abode of love. Energize this area by placing a pair of mandarin ducks, hearts, double happiness symbols and a double carp fish. If you like placing flowers in your bedroom, red roses are strictly prohibited as per feng shui. Place pink flowers instead after removing the thorns.
  2. As per the rules of Feng Shui, water in the bedroom is a strict no-no. Water in your love zone fills your life with dead energy. Water and all kinds of water related objects including water beds, fountains, and pictures of water falls should be kept away from your bedroom.
  3. If the headboard of your bed is placed against a window, it will give you very little support in life from your lover. Try re-locating the bed such that the headboard is next to a wall.
  4. If you can’t do without a TV in the bedroom, cover it with a piece of cloth when it is not being used. This will shut out the negative energy that it emits even in the still mode.
  5. Cicadas (see image aside this post) are a potent symbol of fertility. Couples who are trying to conceive should definitely have an image of the cicada in their bedroom.
  6. If you are a couple who argue often, keep three boulders (rocks) together in a South-westerly direction. Make a double happiness sign on them and tie them with a red ribbon. This will increase the stability in your relationship.
  7. Use these colors - yellow, white, grey, beige and brown, as well as sensual accent colours, like pink and peach on the walls, furniture and bed sheets.

Hope you have a wonderful and ever lasting relationship with the help of these cures.

Hi,

I read your above article, in my bedroom the bed is placed in east-west direction and our head rest is in the west but against a window and as per you which is not good.If i try to change the bed's head rest to east, the other side of the east wall is the bathroom and i have heard that the bed's head rest against a wall shared by a bathroom is not very good. Please suggest.

This is the first time i happen to visit your blog and liked it a lot.

Siby

If you can align the bed such that Head of the bed faces South that will be good else let it remain as it is currently placed
