Feng Shui for Love and Lasting Relationships

I got a frantic call from one of my old clients. One with whom I had lost touch as she had re-located to another town. As per her, ever since she has moved to a new apartment she has been having almost daily fights with her husband. When his husband is on tour they fight over the call. First she thought it is a passing phase, maybe the husband is in stress due to his work which has made him so short-tempered but when this continued for more than three months she wanted me to visit her new house and do a Feng Shui check.
So here I was with my compass and laptop locating directions of each room, its alignments and décor placed in the house. The very first thing I noticed was that the toilet in their master bedroom was in the South West.
As advised in my previous posts on Feng Shui, South West is the direction of love and relationships. As per the doctrines of Feng Shui, a toilet should never be located in the South-West as it leads to unhealthy relations between the couple. Even a guest toilet (one which is not used frequently) should not be there in the South West as it makes marriage of children difficult.
Following are some tips to energize the South West direction.

- Place natural quartz and crystals in this corner
- Dragon headed turtle will help in stagnant relationships to flourish. Dragon symbolizes good luck and protection. Turtle represent long life and wisdom and a baby turtle signifies new beginnings.
- Place yellow flowers in a clay container to increase the feeling of intimacy
- Paintings and figurines of dragon and phoenix are also auspicious for the South west. For women who wish to attract male chi in their orbit, a dragon is a good symbol. Similarly, men who are looking for a suitable partner to start a family should go for a figurine of phoenix.
- A pair of geese soaring high signifies strength in a marital relationship. One will never fly without the other.
