Lucky bamboo has become very popular and more widely available in the past few years. You can now find it at most supermarkets, as well as floral shops and online. The plant used in Feng Shui and Vastu as a cure is not bamboo but Dracaena Sanderiana, a member of the Dracaena family.
Where should you place the bamboo plant - as per Feng Shui, this plant should be placed in East or South East. The number of stalks can be 3 (if placed in East) or 4 (if placed in South East). Since Number 8 is important in Feng Shui, you can place it in a bundle of 8.
