It is considered that a person is born with three lucks – birth luck (the family in which you are born), Star luck (the planetary positions at the time of birth) and earth luck (the surroundings in which you are born and stay in your life– city, locality and country). While little can be done to undo the first two lucks you still have some control on the environment that you choose to spend you life.
Your home and work place environment affects you the most. The external energies like heat, light, sound and internal energies like your diet, sleeping habits, thinking process all help you in achieving positive and successful life. A dissonance in internal energies reflects on physical health, whereas dissonance in external energies might create mental unrest.
The directions of the place and the arrangement of furniture play a vital role in receiving and balancing natural energies like sunlight, air and electromagnetic currents. Southeast the direction of fire has the higher level of energies; placing water here diminishes fire energy and causes vastu-defect.
North direction is considered good for wealth but by the theory of magnetism, if you sleep with your head towards the North, you may experience discomfort in the form of low or high blood pressure, insomnia or any other ailment. This is because your head is considered the North of the body and sleeping with head towards the North creates repulsion between two similar poles. I read the blog about the environment one lives in. When you say that do not sleep with your head directing to the North does that mean north direction for that particular room or in context with the whole house.
