Natraj, is the dancing form of Lord Shiva, the Hindu God of Destruction, depicts Shiva dancing. In fact, Shiva is believed to be the creator of dance. In India, all dancers start their dance practice after offering a prayer to Natraj.
Today, I invited my friend for breakfast. He saw a large wall statue of Lord Ganesh in standing position adorning my living room wall. He asked, "Is there any difference in manifestations of Lord Ganesha in standing and sitting postures".
"No, you can place Ganesha in any posture other than in dancing pose", I answered.
"Why?"
"As the only time, Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha danced was when they were angry. They danced to vent out their anger", I explained.
My friend who is a non-believer was very skeptical, "How can a statue emit energies which can effect one's life? It is difficult to believe".
I explained that it is not the energy emitting from the statue but the impression which registers on your sub-conscious mind that makes the difference. If the image or statue depicts negative feeling on the sub-concious it should be avoided being placed in the house. If it depicts positive aspects of life like happiness, success, prosperity, harmony, etc. it is suggested to be placed.
So please note not to place a Natraj or a dancing Ganesh in your homes even if it looks very attractive when you see it.
God Bless You !!
