Astrovastu for the North

The lord of North is Mercury and the deity is Kuber who is the lord of wealth and indulgence. The element of North direction is water. It’s a good sector to place plants and sleek lush green hue lamp as mercury represents green colour here.
The supportive planets to Mercury are Jupiter and Moon. The togetherness of these planets gives support in career, promotion, increment in salary, good profits in business, calm, peace and harmony.
The enemy planets in this direction are Saturn, Mars, Venus, Rahu and Ketu. You should not place any wrought iron furniture; black, blue furnishings here and also do not decorate the area with bright red interiors.
In Vastu, North is represented by wealth and its lord indicates intelligence, wisdom, media, advertising, writing, journalism, commerce, communication and transport. It is good to make main entrance, office, study, treasury room, reception, hall and lounge. This brings positive qualities and bountiful prosperity in home.
On the negative side a defective North mainly affect the landylady’s health and wealth of the owner.

5. Hang a picture of green parrots flying in this direction.
6. Décor a gold-plated Shri yantra in North direction.

To the north of my sitting room is a window and a thin strip of wall which joins here and next to it is a window. Can I place a picture of shri yantra on the wall or window? I don't have a gold plated Shri yantra.
